AVID Program
what is avid?
AVID stand for Advancement Via Individual Determination. It is a nonprofit that changes lives by helping schools shift to a more equitable, student-centered approach. They train 85,000 educators annually to close the opportunity gap, so they can prepare all students for college, careers, and life. To be able to offer AVID at a school, select educators must go to hours of training and must follow specific procedures in order to get and remain certified. We are an AVID certified school!
